As a celebration of Valentine's Day, throughout February the t-Lounge by Dilmah will serve a special Valentine's menu. PRINCE OF KANDY TEA will be served hot with a crêpe or waffle topped with our Special Recipe Cashew Chicken.
Rose, French Vanilla Tea
Our Tea of the Month, ROSE, FRENCH VANILLA Tea was especially chosen for its embodiment of love, passion and intrigue—hallmarks of St. Valentine in February.
This flavoured black tea is seductive in character, combining a fine Single Region Pekoe from Dimbula Valley with the sensuous and almost mystical fragrance of rose petals. Celebrated throughout history for its romance, rose is one of the most pleasing of flavours. The gentle tea is encircled by the soft and slightly sweet aroma of red rose to offer an alluring and gentle brew. The rose fragrance is tinged with the flavour of French vanilla.
Our ROSE, FRENCH VANILLA ICED TEA is served with a crêpe or waffle topped with our very special Minty Strawberry and Cream Cheese, while our SPARKLING ROSE, FRENCH VANILLA TEA is served chilled with a crêpe or waffle topped with freshly diced Banana and Chocolate.
Delicious Red Macaroons
Keeping to our Valentine's theme – 'Shades of Red' – t-Lounge by Dilmah will serve specially-made macaroons, Delicious Red Macaroons, varying from shades of red to pink with a choice among Strawberry, Crème Brulee, Chocolate, Caramel or Marzipan.
Competition: 'Twice the Love on Valentine's Day'
The Dilmah t-Lounge will hold a Valentine's Day Photo Competition for customers visiting our lounges during February.
This competition requires the participants to take a picture with their loved one with elements of tea at either one of the two t-Lounges and post that image on Facebook, or Instagram.
The selected winner will be given a free weekend for two on full board basis at Royal Palms Beach Hotel.
