The innovative Peter Kuruvita’s Dilmah High Tea is now embracing the flavours of the Far East in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year! Along with its exclusive selection of teainfused dishes and inspiring mixology creations, the menu will also be serving house-made chicken dumplings between the 22nd and 29th of January 2017.
Crafted by celebrity chef, author, restaurateur and lover of tea, Peter Kuruvita - together with the t-Lounge by Dilmah, the original High Tea spread includes Earl grey tea-infused bittersweet chocolate truffles coated in Feuillentine and topped with Murray River Pink salt; crisp, fresh doughnuts filled with a Rose with French Vanilla Tea-infused cream custard, rolled in a bed of fragrant cinnamon sugar and topped with a rose with French vanilla glaze; A variety of tea-infused marshmallows, including Lychee, Almond and Rose Tea, a wrap of moist Ceylon Suchong Tea-infused breast of chicken steamed, torn and dressed in a black pepper, vegetable rice wrap, Dilmah's Italian Almond Tea-infused lamb Kofta seasoned with nuts, herbs and spices, and served on Pita with tzatziki, hummus, chilli sauce, fresh salad and a fragrant garlic relish; Pandan coconut chiffon cake, Sesame balls.
A fine example of tea gastronomy in the 21st century, this indulgent collection of tea-inspired fare will be accompanied by a flute of Dilmah's Sparkling Cuvee Ran Watte Tea, a Moroccan Mint Tea aperitif and your choice of hot tea from Dilmah's t-Series Designer Gourmet Tea range.
